Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This year me and a small group of friends are going to be taking on a fresh challenge to hopefully raise lots of money with your help for compton hospice. We will be riding 171 miles along the canal from Wolverhampton to London over two days. None of us at this moment in time no wether we are capable of doing such a distance but we are all 100% commited to the challenge and will not give up on this.
Compton Hospice is a Wolverhampton based charity who has been supporting patients facing a life-limiting illness, and their families, for over 30 years.
Our purpose is to make a difference to people’s lives when their illness is no longer curable.
We do this by treating people, not conditions, whether their needs are physical, psychological, social or spiritual.
A fully qualified team of doctors, nurses and support workers are on hand to provide the best possible care for patients and their families during a very difficult period.
I'm also doing this for a close friend of mine that i lost in june 2012 "Harry Wolves" one of the nicest guys ive ever met. He was genuine and sincere. I wish he was still here he was a great suporter of me and the charities/adventures i had been involved in. I just want to do this challenge in his memory never forgotten br.xx RIP Harry
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep or give what ever you can. i would rather have a little of something than nothing at all. Also please leave your name and a message on my just giving page this will help with the motivation. thanks xxx
