Every year the National Trust in Wales spends over £3000 a mile to look after the Welsh coast. We maintain and care for 157 miles, over 10%, of its entire length, keeping it special and accessible for you. We need the money to improve access and footpaths, protect the spectacular flowers and animals that live there and ensure it is an inspirational place for you to visit and enjoy.

Our volunteer Bob Smith knows how hard staff and volunteers are working on the ground to protect our Welsh coastal heritage. He's walked the Wales coast path, carrying a hand carved trident, to raise money to support this work. He' s started the trek on the 8 June and ended in Chepstow on 5 August. 

£75 could create a metre of new footpath, £100 could restore 5 metres of flower rich bank or go to support the ponies used to graze the cliff tops and improve habitats for the rare chough. Supporting the Trident Trek will help the National Trust to keep the Welsh coast special.

Mae Bob Smith ein gwirfoddolwr yn gwybod fod ein staff a’n gwirfoddolwyr yn gweithio’n galed ar lawr gwlad i warchod treftadaeth arfordirol Cymru. Dyma pam mae Bob wedi cerdded Llwybr Arfordir Cymru, gan gario tryfer wedi ei gerfio â llaw, i godi arian i gefnogi’r gwaith hwn. Wnaeth o ddechrau’r daith ar y 8 o Fehefin a gorffen 5 o Awst. 

Gall £75 baratoi metr o lwybr newydd. Gall £100 adfer 5 metr o gloddiau sy’n gyforiog oflodau neu fod o gymorth i’r merlod sy’n arfer pori ar ben y clogwyni a gwella cynefinoedd i’r frân goegoch brin. Bydd cefnogi Taith y Tryfero gymorth i’r Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaetholgadw arfordir Cymru’n arbennig.
