We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

Prostate cancer still remains the most common cancer in men. Over 40,000 men are diagnosed each year and every hour one man dies from it.

We'll be raising money for Prostate Cancer UK and Movember UK, who fund vital research into tests, treatments and the causes of prostate cancer. For years it has been badly underfunded despite the overwhelming amount of sufferers. They are working to change this. They also help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life.

This October, Ben (Kenny) and I will be tackling a gruelling cycling challenge covering 380km over five days, from Yosemite Park, ending up in San Francisco.
This year has particular significance to me, Amy, as it marks the fifth year anniversary of losing my Dad to this dreadful disease. With this in mind I wanted to commemorate and remember Dads life whilst helping to raise funds and awareness through this challenge. With ongoing research and sharing stories like Dads, I hope it will help encourage men to detect it sooner, take action and save the heartbreak and suffering for other patients and their families.

Thank you,

Amy & Ben
