Hundreds of thousands of people are in desperate need of emergency relief.  The number of people forced to flee violence and conflict today is the highest since World War Two.  Many people are dying on dangerous journeys to Europe. Those who do make it here then experience immense suffering. The Red Cross has launched an emergency appeal to help support those refugees.
