Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!
We (Lola and Katie) have decided to climb the three peaks this summer to raise money for charity.
The Three Peaks Challenge is an attempt to climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. This involves ascending around 10,000 feet and walking almost 26 miles, not to mention travelling almost 500 miles between the peaks! A safer and more practical way to complete the challenge – when conducting it without the assistance of a dedicated support crew to drive participants between peaks – is to climb the ‘three peaks in three days’; this is how we will do it.
The plan is:
Mon 21 July - Travel 9 hours to Scotland!
Tue 22 July - Climb Ben Nevis and depart for Scafell Pike.
Wed 23 July - Climb Scafell Pike and head for Betws-y-Coed, Wales.
Thu 24 July - Climb Snowdon and leave for home!
We are aiming to raise £500 in aid of Cancer Research. Please help us reach our target by donating any amount of money, we are grateful for any donation - big or small!
Thank you.
