Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The Background
Did you know 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem in the course of a year. The problem is mental health is seldom talked about - it is natural to ignore problems that can't be seen or have physical symptoms. However this does not make the problem go away. In most instances things will get worse if the problem is not dealt with. MIND is a brilliant charity that aims to reduce the stigma around mental health issues by improving services, raising awareness and promote understanding.
The Plan
The great news is there are loads of ways that everyone can improve and maintain their mental health - one of which is exercise! For those that know me I do love a good run. So I have set myself a challenge to visit all of the London Underground stations on foot! This will involve running Overground to every station covering every underground line, culminating in running the London Marathon in April 2016. The total distance is approximately 520km over 25 separate runs (not including the marathon).
I've made a spreadsheet of the runs along with a link to the route for each for those keen to follow my progress:
