Mike Gulvin gave us the idea of cycling from London to Paris to raise money for the Bloodwise charity. Mike had just undergone a bone marrow/stem cell transplant and was looking forward to recovery from acute myeloid leukaemia. Sadly Mike died the following year. But we went on to cycle from London to Paris twice to raise funds and along with Molly and Patrick (Mike's children) Maureen (his wife), Jacqueline (my wife) and me - we've formed the Gurning Grimpeurs. Together we have raised several thousand pounds for Bloodwise and hope to raise much more with your help.
