The Hampshire Hillbillies are a ragtag group who much like the seven dwarves all bring something different to the table. The National Three Peaks Challenge has made them into a slightly less disorganised rabble than normal and the fact that they will be doing it for such an amazing charity has given each member a ninja like focus to complete the mission. 

The charity we have chosen to raise money for is Macmillan.

Macmillan believe that no one should face cancer alone. Right from the moment of diagnosis, throughout treatment and beyond, they’re a constant source of support. Recent statistics state that every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. More than one in three of us will get that news at some point during our lifetime and there are more than 200 types of cancer, each with different causes, symptoms and treatments. It is something that will touch each and every one of us in some way!

Macmillan are determined to make sure that people living with cancer and their loved ones get the support they need. But they can’t do it without our support. 98% of their income comes from the public and the Hampshire Hillbillies are proud to do our bit to help raise funds and awareness.

Please support the Hampshire Hillbillies and our chosen charity by donating whatever you can. For those who dont know, the traditional three peaks challenge involves climbing the tallest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. The norm nowadays includes the extra challenge of competing this task within 24 hours. The clock will begin on our challenge in the late afternoon of Saturday 11 July 2015
