Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the 2016 London Marathon for Leonard Cheshire Disability, the charity that provides care, education and leisure services, and also runs care homes. They help a huge number of people with various disabilities. My link to Leonard Cheshire is through my father, who was diagnosed with viral encephalitis in 1994 and suffered brain damage as a result. He now lives in a Leonard Cheshire home in Ampthill, Bedfordshire, which provides personalised care services to every resident.
Leonard Cheshire goes beyond providing social care - it enables disabled people to find and remain in employment; allows them to build confidence through the provision of information, advice and guidance, and break down barriers through providing access to computers and adapted IT equipment.
Every penny raised will go to Leonard Cheshire, and both the charity and I will be really grateful for anything you can give. Thank you!
