Hi my name is jaime and I set up Galgos Del Sol UK on JustGiving to create a place where those of us in the UK could join in with fundraising to support the new UK charity which is going to promote humane behaviour towards galgos (spanish greyhounds) and of course support Galgos Del Sol in spain where they selflessly give everything to rescue and rehabilitate the abandoned galgos, they have sent over 500 to new loving homes in the uk,europe and the usa in the last 3 years,wow, you are the galgo's heroes.

Unfortunately there so many more out there on the streets and in the countryside that need help,one day that will change because they are also in the process of creating a galgo rescue centre and there is currently a campaign on Indiegogo for that.Once rescued you can see how amazing and gentle they really are.

Well done  to Amanda Jane for being the first JustGiving fundraiser and who inspired my friend simon to nominate me for the CHILLY DIP CHALLENGE as he called it, and thanks to Amanda Jane, Sue Stretton,Fiona Mc Clenaghan,Lee Ballaantyne and all their donators so far and all those that are going to donate in the future, you are galgo heroes.

The company I work for Wales & West Utilities Ltd. have said they will match whatever I raise up to a total of £300 so a big thanks to them and hopefully that will encourage my sponsors to give a little more.
