Story
However much Tara loved receiving flowers, it was her wish for donations to be made to this charity in the hope to raise much needed cash for research, support and awareness in to Pancreatic cancer.
So if you were thinking of buying flowers for her funeral please think again and donate the same amount to this very worthy charity.
Tara was diagnosed with Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer in October 2015.
Tara accepted her fate with courage, dignity and without pity for herself.
This type of cancer gets very little media exposure and funding but it is on the increase and is a silent killer if undetected early.
It's aggressive and difficult to treat and life expectancy compared to other cancer survival rates is poor to say the least.
110 days later Tara passed away on 27th January 2016 surrounded by loved ones in hospital.
Quite simply - she was too young to be taken from this world and I loved her to bits for 32 years since meeting her at school. We have two beautiful boys together who are going to miss their mum, but I know how proud she is of the adults they have become.
