We raise funds for Burns Survivors to support their rehabilitation needs

Story

Once again I’m running the London Marathon this year to raise funds and awareness for my sister’s charity, the Katie Piper Foundation.
You can read about the goals and the aims of the charity on the website, as well as background to Katie’s story: www.katiepiperfoundation.org.uk

In the past year I've seen my sister working relentlessly to not only establish the charity but also to make a real difference to people’s lives even from day one. She has travelled around the country helping individuals in a variety of different ways, which you’ll be able to follow in a new 4-part Channel 4 series “Katie: My Beautiful Friends” of which the first episode is due to be aired on Tuesday 22nd March 2011 at 9pm.

In order for Katie to continue the remarkable work she is doing as well as pushing forward with the other goals her charity aims to achieve, such as improving the treatments available for burns survivors as a whole in the UK, the charity needs funding and I can testify first-hand that every pound donated really is going to a vital cause that will make a big difference.

Thank you for your support, it really is appreciated by us all.
