*Update*  They did it!! James successfully completed his first ever triathlon and James and Charlotte finished the Lichfield Fun Run. Well done!!

James will be taking part in his first triathlon. James and Charlotte will both be running in the Lichfield 2km Family Fun Run.  

James wants to raise £200 because this is enough to buy a safety helmet to protect a crew member's head in rough seas, allowing communication with other crew members even in very windy weather.

During a recent visit onboard the all weather lifeboat in Fowey, James was able to try on one of the crew's helmets. He then used his spending money to buy himself an imitation helmet from the gift shop. Thankfully it was a lot cheaper than the real thing!
