Hello my name is Abbie and I'm 17 years old, I am going to do a sponsored skydive to raise money and awareness for kidney research as kidney disease has affected our family. Both my dad and brother suffer with polycystic kidney's & last year my dad had a transplant, with all the complications he had it was difficult, but with the help from people donating to kidney research it is enabling him to make an on going recovery. Without charities like this and all the research and hard work they put in my dad would not be here today. By going through this experience and realising how important charities are today, made me want to be involved and help make a difference. Unfortunately my brother also suffers from this disease, and will also require a transplant in the future. Any money we can raise will help with future research and improve treatment for this serious illness. I would like to raise as much money as possible in order to help this deserving charity.
