Baxters Loch Ness Marathon 2013 · 29 September 2013 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

I started running in April with a couple of great buddies Jon and Emmanuel. We have all entered the Inverness Marathon.  It will be Emmanuel and my first marathon.

I'm fundraising for Parkinsons UK.  My Mum has coped amazingly well over the last 15 or so years with the condition and she has been an inspiration to us all.  This is a small gesture I can undertake to raise some money for a very good cause and I'm grateful for any donations.

I am undertaking a "warm up" on 24 August - "The Great Wilderness Challenge" - but thats another story....
