This is my first (maybe only!) half marathon. For this MASSIVE challenge I don't want to run just any half marathon, I want to do the LEGENDARY Derby Ramathon. It's an iconic race in my home town and I have fond memories of cheering my dad on when he ran it in 1987 (he was pretty much the age I am now...yikes!)

And my chosen charity is one that is extremely close to my heart. Many of you will know that in 2011 I was diagnosed with the genetic condition Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. At that time I was really struggling to walk to the local shops and back. EDS UK has been an invaluable source of information and support as I have built up my strength and fitness. I'd love to give something back to them. 

I have also had lots of help from my friend and neighbour Jude and she's coming down to Derby to run with me - hurrah!
