Story
Howdy everyone... Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
A number of years ago my brother, Roger, found out he had testicular cancer. After a tough time and a difficult operation he had the cancerous lump and the testicle removed. Catching it early and the treatment he received saved his life. I now still have a brother to annoy..thankfully. Other families aren't so fortunate.
I'm walking the 252 miles in 7 days for a number of reasons. To raise awareness of the importance of checking for testicular cancer for all men but also to raise money for the charity, their research efforts and the foundation that effectively saved my brothers life.
I am also doing this as part of a very important project that involves me completing a list of adventures - Walking from London to Paris for Charity is one of them, and this is me making it come to life.
I'm mega looking forward to the pure physical challenge aspect, it's not going to be easy but raising money for such a critical charity that is so close to my heart is an honour. For you all that have been affected by cancer, I'll walk and keep walking...
Thankyou so much for reading this, and if you donate remember your contributing to a charity that does amazing things and you should be proud of yourself.
