We raise funds for The National Hospital to improve the lives of neurology patients

Story

Back in 2004 I had to have emergency brain surgery due to me having an abscess on the brain. It took me a while to recover as I was paralysed down my left hand side. But with hard work and the help of family and friends I worked my way back to health and am now living a normal life. After my illness I strived to succeed in life. I went to university and have completed 3 degrees and I am now a qualified PE teacher.

Life seemed to looking brighter until June 18th 2015 when my brother...... 'My Rock' became ill at home and after having tests at hospital he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He had recently become a father to his beautiful daughter Jessie.

However; After having further tests, he was admitted and had his surgery which was successful. After his surgery and the care that he received I decided that it was time to give something back. As both of us have had brain surgery and both had successful treatments I want to complete the London Marathon but I need people's help to get behind me and raise some money for this great charity that is very close to my whole families lives.
