The 24th April 2016 is most probably going to be a day that i will never forget. With a small push from a few close friends around me, I have decided that it would be a really fun (ahem) idea to run the London marathon! As much as i have entered this event for 'fun', this is also an ideal opportunity to raise some money for charity.

I have decided to run the London Marathon for an amazing charity called Sparks which raises money for research for young children with very rare medical conditions. There are 1 in 30 children in the UK that are born every day with a condition that may affect them for life and Sparks are using every penny that is raised to help improve the lives of these unfortunate young children.

Please be generous in your sponsorship.  Not only are you supporting a fantastic cause, but you do so in the knowledge that I will be in some pain throughout the 26 miles which I know will fill some of you with  happiness. :)
