A friend of mine, Linda, received a diagnosis of breast cancer in November. Obviously this has been a difficult time for her. But Linda's determination to beat the disease is simply inspiring. Not for her feeling down and sorry for herself - Oh NO! Instead a really positive attitude and a desire to help others. So when Linda asked for volunteers to join her in a sky dive.....well how could I not?! So along with Linda, Wendy & Christine I will jump out of a plane on the 8th of August!

The four of us have known each other for ever. We play in the same brass band and have done since we were all wee toots! So hopefully between us we can raise a goodly sum for this fantastic charity.
