3 years ago I returned to work after a sudden and life changing illness. During my long recovery I attended at Harrogate PTC where I received invaluable treatment and support which played a massive part in getting me back on my feet. 

Having run the New York Marathon twice before, I have been fortunate enough to secure a place in this years race on 2nd November 2014. Although I may never be the runner I was 4 years ago, just being able to compete will be a huge personal achievement after thinking I might never run again. I cannot thank the Police Treatment Centre enough for the help they gave me and that difficult time and this is just a small way of showing my appreciation.
